Good afternoon，everyone. I am very glad to stand here to make a speech for you. Today, my topic is family love.
Faced with the word of family, I will always recall a public service advertising. It talks about when we were young, our father were the mainstay of our home and gentleness mother looked after us. Gradually, we grew up. We wanted to free so that we quarreled with our father and mother. When we grew up, we became to know the hardships of life, then we found that father and mother were old. Now, it is time to do a children's responsibility. We should replace our father and mother and use our hands to protect the family. We should do something to let them know that they have a shoulder to depend on. Father and mother we love you! Home, love is a responsibility. It is said that father's love is like mountains while mother's is like water. Father’s love is silent and serious and often can not express at the time .But he is a superman, he will try his best to help us but don’t let us know. When we get ahead, he always hides his happiness in the heart. Mother’s love is as warm as the sunshine and harbor. It’s natural and sincere. It’s purest and doesn’t mix with a spot.
Father’s and mother’s love is around us every moment. It might seem like our family will be around forever, but our time together can be cut short when our least expect it. Now they are old, we should take advantage of the time we have with our family. Expressions of love are not always easy. They often need conscious effort.
Now what should we do for our parents
(1) Say the words, ’’I love you’’.
Maybe this phrase was not used much in our home, so it could be tough and strange at first. Don’t take it personally. What’s really important is not to have regrets.
(2) Make a phone call.
Now we leave home to study. We are divided with our family because of distance, but the telephone become a good way to care about our parents. We can tell them everything is OK and don’t worry about us. It is very important, though it is simple.
