Bananas for Lunch
香蕉午餐
A fat monkey likes eating bananas very much.
一只小胖猴子很喜欢吃香蕉。
He had bananas for lunch. He peeled one and ate one more and then, one more， one banana, two bananas, three bananas, four…
他拿香蕉做午餐，他剥一个香蕉，用力地吃着，吃着，吃着，吃了1个香蕉，2个香蕉，3个香蕉，4个……
He ate and ate, but he wanted more, he peeled and he ate, peeled and he ate, five bananas, six bananas, seven bananas, eight …
他不停地吃， 但是他还想要更多!他边吃，边剥，5个香蕉，6个香蕉，7个香蕉，8个……
He peeled two more and continued two more. He ate whole bunch of bananas and can’tsleep.
他又剥了两个，继续撑着吃。他吃了一整串香蕉以致不能躺下睡觉了。

A Silly Man
一个愚蠢的人
Fred was going to school. When he passed a park, he saw a man sawing a big branch from a tree.
弗雷德走在上学的路上。路过一个公园时，他看见一个人在锯一棵大树的树枝。
“Hi, it is dangerous.” Fred shouted. “After you cut off the branch, you will fall, too.” But the man didn’t believe him, and said angrily, “Go away, you little thing. It’s none of yourbusiness.”
“嗨，你这么做很危险的。”弗雷德喊道：“你锯了那树枝后，你会摔下来的.。”而那个人不相信他，愤怒地说：“快走开，小东西，没有你的事。”
Fred could do nothing, so he left. He didn’t go far before he heard something crashed. Herushed back and found the man lying on the ground.
费雷德没趣地离开了。他没有走多远就听见一声响，他急忙跑回去，发现那个人躺在地上。
Fred asked some men for help. They carried the man to the hospital.
弗雷德找了人帮忙。他们把这个男人送到了医院。

The Bathing Boy
洗澡的男孩
One day, Tom is bathing in a river.
有一天，汤姆在河里洗澡。
He doesn’t swim well and will be drowned. He calls out loud for help.
他不太会游泳。眼看就要被淹死，他大声呼喊救命。
A man is just passing by. He doesn’t help the boy, but stands by and says to him. “Howimprudent you are! It is dangerous to bath in the river.”
有个人正好从旁边经过，他没有帮助小男孩，却是站在旁边对小孩子说道：“你怎么这么草率!在河里洗澡很危险。”
“Oh, yes sir,” cries the boy, “ Please help me out and scold me afterward.”
小男孩喊叫：“ 请你还是先把我救起来后再责备我吧。”
Counsel without help is useless.
只有忠告而不给予帮助是无济于事的。

It’s Good to Walk
散步有益
A group of penguins at a zoo in Japan take a walk to lose weight.
在日本的一个动物园里一群企鹅在散步减肥。
Every day, 15 king penguins there walk 500 meters twice.
那里的15只金企鹅媒体散步两次，每次500米。
“Just like human, penguins don’t exercise much during winter. They become fat easily,” says a zookeeper.
动物园工作人员说：“和人类一样，企鹅冬天不怎么运动，容易发胖。”
